Pre-Kindergarten Course
Pre-Kindergarten class provides a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where young learners build the foundation for future academic and social success. Through hands-on experiences, play-based learning, and guided instruction, children explore early literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies concepts at a level designed for their age and abilities. In addition to academic readiness, the program emphasizes social-emotional growth, creativity, and independence. Daily routines and activities help children practice cooperation, communication, and problem-solving skills, while fostering curiosity and a love of learning. Areas of focus include:
Language & Literacy: Developing listening, speaking, pre-reading, and pre-writing skills.
Math Readiness: Exploring numbers, shapes, patterns, and basic problem-solving.
Science & Discovery: Observing, questioning, and experimenting with the world around them.
Fine & Gross Motor Skills: Strengthening coordination through art, play, and movement.
Social & Emotional Growth: Learning to share, take turns, manage emotions, and build friendships. The classroom is designed to be a safe, welcoming space where each child is valued as an individual and encouraged to grow at their own pace.
The Pre-K experience lays the foundation for kindergarten and beyond, preparing children to become confident, capable, and joyful learners.
